Halloween 08
For the first time, I got into the halloween spirit and carved a pumpkin! I was super excited about it. It's always been something I've wanted to do. So Dom and I headed out to the pumpkin patch and picked the perfect pumpkin to be our experiment. :) Days passed by before we even got to the pumpkin, but that was okay with me. The more days that passed by the more excited and the more eager I was to carved my pumpkin.
Sadly, I used a stencil to carve my pumpkin instead of doing it freehand like my brother suggested, but I was afraid that my pumpkin wouldnt turn out as cool if I had done it freehand. It took me awhile to choose what stencil I wanted to use. In the end I chose to do a group of ghosts and Dom chose to do a face that kind of looked like Chucky. Creepy. I wish I had gotten a picture of what our pumpkin looked like on the night we carved it however we got done carving it so late I just wanted to go to sleep. Anyways here's pictures of what our pumpkins looked like 3 days later all moldy :(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS!
Last Saturday was my dad's birthday and in celebration of him turning
51 we took a trip up to the solvang area for some wine tasting. :) I
have had wine before but never really tasted enough to know about wine
at all. we went to a couple of different winerys and each one got
better and better. I've forgotten the name of the wine I enjoyed the
most but I have learned that I'm a red wine lover :)
After a long day of wine tasting, we headed to firestone brewery for
some beer sampling. curious of the type of beer this brewery had I got
the sampler of their four most popular beers. I liked their double
barrel beer and of course hated their ipa!!
Even time I see my family especially my brother I have noticed that we
are very similar. we have very similar tastes in wine and beer. all in
all, it was a great family spent weekend. :)

ABBY
Today marks the 3 year anniversary or Abby and still it is still hard
to grasp. She was an amazing person. It may sound cliché but she
touched the lives of everyone around her. Most everyone knew who she
was and if they didn't know her there was a good chance that they've
heard or her.
The one thing about her that in still stuck in my head to this day is
her goofy laugh. Abby just about laughed at anything, which is why we
got along so well together. Her smile and laugh could just brighten
your day and literally make all your worries go away.
What was wonderful about her is that everyone had their moments with
her. We all got to share a bond with her that was like no other. I
personally, shared relationship troubles with her. She was always the
person to call at 3 am when you were sad about a boy and she would
answer and talk until you were okay. Her house was always the house
you could go to if your parents weren't happy with you. She was that
girl.
She was that happy go lucky girl that had everything going for her.
The girl that was always down for anything. A bad influence yet the
best influence I ever had. Abby has touched my life and will continue
to play a part in the rest of my life. She is that pot of gold at the
end of the rainbow.

A LONG GOOD DAY
Yesterday was the start of my new job as a physical therapy aide. I
was supposed to start on Monday, however the girl training me called
in sick so I had the day off.
In the beginning I felt like I was just being thrown into the job but
as the day went on I started to get the hang of things. I got to help
set up patients for their e-stim and clean up after the e-stim. I
though that was cool. I'm curious what it feels like. And then I had
to perform other basic duties like answer the telephones, schedule
appointments, and clean up. At the end of the night, I was left more
tired than I am at jolly boy.
I was really exhausted and my feet were hurting. All I wanted to do
was lay down and go to sleep, however I told Dom I would see him and
so I went over. He cooked me dinner :) there were tacos, tostadas, and
enchiladas. Mmmm...it made my day so much better :)
